Dr. Yaron Simler - CEO

Dr. Yaron Simler joined Scopus in August 2005 as its President and a member of its Board of Directors. A veteran of cable and satellite industries, Dr. Simler brings to Scopus immeasurable knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the industry as well as a significant and intimate familiarity with the American and worldwide markets.

Prior to Scopus, Dr. Simler was with Harmonic, Inc, where he served as President of Harmonic Convergent Systems Division. In his 13 years with Harmonic, he held several positions including Applications Engineer, International Sales Manager, Director of Applications and Technology and Vice President of Marketing.

Dr. Simler received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He is named on one patent.

Eitan Koter - President

Eitan Koter was appointed Scopus’ President in early 2007 after having served as VP Sales since 2004. He is in charge of enhancing Scopus’ business operations and improving the synergy of sales and marketing.
Mr. Koter joined Scopus in 2001 as a Sales Manager for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region and afterwards was appointed Director of Sales for Europe, Middle-East & Africa (EMEA).

Prior to Scopus, Mr. Koter served as Senior Sales Manager of the Next Generation Telephony and DCME division of ECI Telecom, today Veraz Networks. There, he was responsible for the company's sales activities in India, Africa & Israel and for the company's global service sales activities. He also held positions at CoreQuest, a start-up ASIC company specializing in transmission & reception components for the Cable TV industry.

Mr. Koter holds a Business Administration degree from New England College in New Hampshire, USA.

Moshe Eisenberg - CFO

Moshe Eisenberg joined Scopus in 2005 as its Chief Financial Officer. As a member of the Scopus senior management team, Mr. Eisenberg is responsible for the company’s overall financial processes. Eisenberg joined Scopus with vast financial management experience particularly in public and private companies.

Prior to joining Scopus, Mr. Eisenberg served as the CFO of Unipier Mobile Ltd, an intelligent policy management software company. From 1999-2005, Mr. Eisenberg spent 6 years in the United States as the CFO of Spacenet Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Gilat Satellite Networks (NASDAQ: GILTF), overseeing all accounting and financial planning functions for the company. Mr. Eisenberg's previous experience includes acting as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Gilat Satellite Networks.

Mr. Eisenberg holds an MBA in Finance from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Dr. Adi Bonen – CTO

Dr. Bonen is focusing on strengthening Scopus’ innovative edge and implementing it into the company's R&D initiatives.

Prior to his appointment, Dr. Bonen was a consultant for cable equipment providers on new architectures, technologies and products. A leading technologist, he also spent 11 years with Harmonic Inc., where he served in the positions of VP of R&D Broadband Access Products and Director of Technology for the Corporate Research Group, among others.

Dr. Bonen received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology, and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Ovadia Cohen - Vice President Business Development, Marketing Communications

Ovadia Cohen was appointed Scopus’ VP Business Development and Marketing Communications in early 2007, after holding the position of VP Marketing. In his new position, he is responsible for expanding Scopus’ partnerships and defining the company’s next generation strategy. With over 15 years of experience in systems engineering, business development and marketing, Cohen’s extensive industry contacts well position him to execute the company’s next-generation strategy and long-term planning efforts.

In 1995, Mr. Cohen co-founded Scopus after having held a number of executive and management positions at Tadiran. There he worked as a Systems Engineer in Communications Systems and Signal Processing, and served as Marketing Manager of the Data Links Department.

He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology and is a graduate of Business Administration from the Hebrew University. He served in the Israeli Air Force as a Major and Project Manager in radar systems, communications channels and signal processing.

*Tadiran was Scopus parent company until 1999.

Shimon Shanor - Vice President Sales

Mr. Shimon Shanor was appointed Scopus’ VP Sales in early 2007 with full responsibilities for Scopus’ world wide sales. He most recently served as Scopus’ AVP Sales Asia Pacific, a position he held from 2005. Here, he was instrumental in the company’s penetration into Japan and India, for developing and generating new strategic accounts as well as creating new business opportunities in South East Asia.

Prior to this position, Mr. Shanor was responsible for strategic marketing and business development in the USA as VP Business Development USA. Before that, he was Director of Strategic Marketing at LevelOne Communications’ Switching Division.

Mr. Shanor has an Executive MBA from the Polytechnic University and a B.Sc. from the Jerusalem Technical College. He served in the Israel Defense Forces for a decade reaching the title of Chief Engineer in the Intelligence Corps.

Moshe Rousso - Vice President R&D

Moshe Rousso joined Scopus executive team in 2006 as VP of R&D. Mr. Rousso is responsible for the advancement of Scopus' research and development strategies and their implementation into products as well as overseeing the company's intellectual property. He brings with him a rich background in technology and business management in the field of IPTV.

Prior to Scopus, from 2000 to 2005, he was the General Manager of the Broadband TV business unit and VP R&D of the Systems Division at Optibase (NASDAQ: OBAS). Earlier, Mr. Rousso held a number of senior R&D and engineering positions at ECI Telecom (NASDAQ: ECIL).

Mr. Rousso holds a B.Sc from Tel Aviv University and served in technological positions in the Israeli Air Force.

Ronit Kalujny - Vice President Operations

Ms. Ronit Kalujny was appointed as Scopus Network Technology's VP Operations at the beginning of January 2003. She joins Scopus from Gilat Satellite Networks where she spent the last 3 years as the company's purchasing manager.

Ms. Kalujny brings to Scopus broad experience in day-to-day operations of large corporations including production and cost reduction processes, development and management of long terms production agreements and management of information systems. Prior to Gilat, she was responsible for purchasing and MIS at Israel's largest export tire manufacturer Alliance as well as being the head of the Economic Department at Carmel Carpets.

Ms. Kalujny, an adjunct lecturer at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology on the subject of ‘Operations Research', holds degrees in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry and Education from Ben Gurion University since 1977.

Gadi Canfi- Vice President Professional Services

Gadi Canfi was appointed Scopus’ VP Professional Services in early-2007 after having served as Director of Sales Engineering since 2005. He is responsible for overall servicing of the technical needs of Scopus’ clientele and works closely with the engineering teams to ensure Scopus provides the best possible technical solution for the customer.

Prior to joining Scopus, Mr. Canfi served as the Head of Engineering Department at Israel’s HOT-Golden Channels, Israel’s largest cable TV operator, where he held a series of engineering and management positions since 1999.

In his last position at HOT, Mr. Canfi managed the digital Headend integration, RF network design, backbone transmission and headend operations teams.
He holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc EE from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa.

Sharon Witzrabin - Vice President Human Resources

Bringing more than 10 years of HR experience to Scopus, Mr. Sharon Witzrabin joined the company as VP Human Resources in early 2007, from Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) .

Mr. Sharon Witzrabin oversees all aspects of global human resources for Scopus including employee recruitment, retention and development, as well as HR policies, procedures and compliance.

Mr. Witzrabin has vast experience in HR management through a wide variety of environments including manufacturing, R&D, communications and consumer electronics. He was most recently HR Manager for Intel’s Consumer Electronics Group overseeing six offices spread through the USA, UK, China and Israel.

He holds a BA cum laude in Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was a member of Israel’s Finance Ministry’s Accountant General’s office.
